I can get my HP Laser Jet 3550 printer to work with my Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop with my Windows 7 operating system

Still no go. I found the device manger in the hardware tab but there was not a printer with a yellow triangle and an exclamation point present in the device manager. I had already deleted all of the printer that used to be connected to the lap top Still no go. The HP Color Laser Jet 3550 is listed as a device (without the yellow triangle and exclamation point). I update the driver and the systems tells me that the driver has been updated.
