Since Adobe Reader is a free program, the best bet is to go on the internet and grab the latest version, or try PDF Reader from Nuance.

So big a program, so many problems and annoyances..

Upgrade to acrobat reader 8, also go to adobe and get help. You paid them allot of money, you should expect it to work.

For windows XP, please download and install Acrobat 8.1 from Adobe from HERE

For Windows Vista, please download FROM HERE

Uninstall Adobe Reader, do a search for all "Adobe" files and delete them. Go to the Adobe website and install the new Adobe Reader 8.1 program.
