Shorten strap of Casio Edifice EF-518 watch

To change the date on the Edifice Casio wristwatch pull out the knob to set time only half way - not fully otherwise you can change the time only. Then rotate the knob ANTI clockwise until you reach the desired date and push back the knob fully to return to normal

follow these instructions off the manual below if you set the watch in wrong sequens it wont change at 12 oclock

mcdevito75 here, If your Casio has a metal band, you can remove 1--2 links, this takes a special tool called a link remover, best bet is to look for a small watch repair shop in your area. If your Casio has a strap, the buckle may be able to move up the strap to fit your wrist, if so, move the buckle up the strap to fit your wrist and cut offf the exccess strap. If not, you"ll have to replace the entire strap. Hope this helps.

You need to push them out. usually you would find arrows marked from inside of the metal bracelet which show you the direction in which to remove the pins. You can remove it if you have a small watch maker's screwdriver but you have to be careful. or get one of these ..
