GAS OVENS
The spark igniter tip is dirty (can clean it with either a little wire brush or a piece of fine sandpaper).
2) The Pilot flame is too low, and the tip of the igniter is not in the flame good enough. (the flame acts as a circuit when it touches the tip & completes the circuit).
3) The spark module is no good and needs to be replaced.(But 1 & 2 are your best bet).
spark module does not sense the flame when it's on. The spark igniter is also the flame sensor which provides feedback to the spark module.
Make sure the igniter is properly aligned with the burner lighting holes and it is clean. All lighting holes must be clean too. You can enlarge them using a drill bit one size bigger.
If it would not fix the problem, replace the bake burner and the igniter.
There is a small chance for the spark module itself to be bad as well.
The oven safety valve
(also called the gas valve) is the part that ensures that gas is not released until the igniter has reached the correct temperature needed to ignite the gas. While this part can fail, it is uncommon. If the hot surface igniter does not glow you should first verify that you have voltage to the circuit. This is a live voltage check and should be performed by a qualified person. If voltage is lost at the valve terminals then you should verify the continuity of the bi-metal in the valve using a multi-meter.
ELECTRIC OVENS:
CHECK THE OVEN RELAY CONTROL BOARD Aclicking sound could be something wrong with a relay. Check for any loose connections around the main control board on your oven. The click you hear is a relay losing power and switching back on. If the clock resets then something is causing power interruptions to the board.

SOURCE: Gas ove will not stay lighting
Hi there you need to change the ffd on your oven FFd stands for flame faliure device. its like an temperature controlled switch. it is located in the oven and this device is what lets the gas go through once it has reached a certain temp. It must only be done by a corgi qualified engineer and to be honest your loooking at about 100 pounds.
SOURCE: Oven will not stay alight
You have aproblem with you ffd ( flamme faliure device which is located in the oven.. Or if your oven has a thermocouple that has gone. Yo need to replace either one of them depending which one you have in your oven
SOURCE: Flame will not stay lit in oven of countrychef 100g
Yes very simple. There is a bulb the flame is heating with a small tube that runs to the gas valve this is the saftey sensor that is bad called a thermo-couple , they are common to go out and should be easy to find online. Let me know if you have any other questions.

SOURCE: The oven of my westinghouse
This oven is provided with a gas safety- the oven knob has a thermoswitch system: inside the knob valve there's a switch that is controlled by a thermostat , it allows the passing of the gas only after it has been heated. For that to work you must keep the knob pressed for at least 10 seconds after the burner has been lit - the time needed for the thermostat to heat up and allow the gas flow.
Your problem is caused by a faulty knob valve: the safety system of the knob is not disengaged after the thermostat gets hot. You will have to replace it: beware, the tube of the thermostat goes all the way to the burner of the oven and it's hard to replace, it will be a long and fiddly job
SOURCE: westinghouse oven LPG 527 wont stay alight and grill wont start
Normally the grill is completely separate to the oven. Press the ignitor before you turn on the grill, as, to ignite, oxygen needs to be present (ie: not flooded with gas) . and you should be able to see the spark from the ignitor in the grill. if you can't, then you may have problems with your ignition pack or ignition leads.
