Look in your owners manual, It will tell you how to reset the window. or windows. you reset the drivers side with your key. Sounds strange, but
it works,

Heater/ defroster works sporadically

Smack the heater motor. It is under the dash on the passenger side. You can usually get them to start that way.

FOB won't work on Chevy Avalanche

Doesn't use a fuse , ues a circuit breaker . These very rarely go bad .The right rear door works ? Uses same circuit breaker as front passenger door. The power windows an locks on your vehicle are controlled by electronic control modules . FPDM - front passenger door module , I would look for a broken orange wire inside the flex boot from the body to the front right passenger door . This is power supply to the passenger door module . Do you know what wiring diagrams are ? Free here http://www.bbbind.com/free-tsb

Passenger Window Sporadically Won't Roll Down

Greetings,
More likely than not, the issue has to do with your window motor. The safest and simplest thing to do is to replace the entire motor.

You can purchase a new window motor: HERE

Here is a guide for replacing it on your own: GUIDE

Likewise, you could also take the car to a shop, get a quote, and have them fix it (although this usually ends up costing more than it should).

Thank you for using FixYa.

Window switch for driver control and passenger switch window

sounds like you have a passenger window motor problem. Try hitting the right door panel hard, down near the speaker opening and pushing the switch at the same time. If it moves, the motor windings are and needs to be replaced.
