I have a Jensen SD1413. How can I get the display to stay on the clock instead of the current station. It did display the clock all the time until I recently had the batteries & alternator replaced in the truck. Now it stays on the current station and only displays the clock for a few seconds when the display button is pressed.

after pressing the display button, and the clock starts to flash, press the up-down (volume arrows) for the hour and the side arrows for the minutes.

The substrait is probably cracked, that's the circuits inside the pc board of the faceplate. It will cost you too much to try to have it repaired. If you will wait for a few days I may have a face for it as I'm currently trying to fix one that is blowing fuses. I'm not going to spend a whole lot of time on it. I'll let you know.

Yes it does. I installed the same unit on my boat and ran an inline switch to the battery to turn it off so as to not wear the battery down.
