I have a 2011 taotao scooter.It has spark but wont start.It seems like its not getting gas.

sounds like gas jet is clogged. been sitting? use carb cleaner and clean out jet. the jet is in the carb bowl and has a stem amd needle valve and a float. when you see the float its attached with a small tab to the needle valve. up inside there is the jet a flat head screw driver to remove it. if its clogged clean it also on gas tank there may be a filter in the shut off valve. turn it off position and see if there is a screw underneath to clean filter.

i changed my spark plug and cleaned my carb/jets but my scooter still wont start can anyone help me?

maby you have touched somthing on the carb when you changed the air filter or maby spark plug is to big or maby faulty try new one or your old one

Pull that new carb off and see if the jets are even screwed in, and the float is together.

i bought one and same thing, when i took the bowl off, all the jets were just laying in there and the float pin wasn't in. i put it together like it should be and works great.

i thought they came already asembled, because they look assembled, but the internals were not.

If thats not the case, your float is stuck, sometimes you can tap the carb and the vibration from the tap will free it up.
