Samsung HT-WP38 connection problem

I bought this system over a year ago and now the rear speakers are not linking with the system. I tried the reset button but still have no luck. The system keep displaying "rear check". Please let me know if there is something else I could do or is there any warranty for this issue?
Thanks
Don

My rear speakers stopped linking with the main unit about 2 years after we bought it, and the online troubleshooting doesn't help because we have the SWA-2000 wireless receiver, for which there are no troubleshooting instructions.

SOURCE: my main unit will not connect to the rear unit

I had a similar problem but mine cut out intermittently.
First, check to make sure the speakers are plugged in solidly. I was plugged into an outlet with a fancy cover and it caused the connection to short out intermittently.

2. Make sure all your wires are securely attached to the receiver unit.

3. If that doesn't work, try turning off the wirless speakers and the Home Theater system and then turn on both of them.

If one of these doesn't work, Samsung has chat support available onlline.

Good Luck!

SOURCE: Gurus, I just bought Samsung Home Theater System which i connected to my Hitachi TV with HDMI cable. I have a Optical Cable going from HT to my TV Optical port. I have another connection from my cable

On the remote control for the Samsung Home Theater System look at the bottom left to a button that says "MODE", those moods change the sound each speaker gives off. if that doesn't work, you might need new wiring because there are other wires that are more durable than the ones that come with it, much better too.

With the home theater system off, press and hold the REMAIN button on the home theater's remote control for 5 seconds.
Note: You can release the REMAIN button when the POWER LED blinks blue.

With the wireless module turned on, use a ball point pen to press the RESET button on the back of the wireless module. The POWER LED in the front of the home theater blinks two times.

Turn on the home theater. The LINK LED on the front of the SWA-3000 changes from red to blue, indicating the wireless module has connected to the home theater.

If your home theater continues to display rear check after you have tried the steps above, call Samsung Customer Care at 1-800-SAMSUNG (1-800-726-7864). Have your model number and serial number on hand to set up service.

How do you fix rear check fault on samsung htc5550w blueray

It means that your wireless rear speakers can not be detected by the 'radio' on the bluray player. Move your wireless receiver (the one the rear speakers connect to) closer to the player or put it in a place where it has a 'clear line of sight' with the player. Should solve it!

When I put on my DVD player, it says "hello, DVD, LOAD, PROT" and turns off...

I assume "PROT" means some sort of protection mode. I would check to see if any of your speaker wires are crossed at the speakers or the receiver. If not you may have shorted something internal.

My rear speakers are not working on my Samsung HT-TWZ412 home theater system. The wirless module blue LED link light blinks when turned on but then goes to standby. Any suggestions?!?

Try resetting the system then place the wireless module in sight of the receiver. Once you establish a connection try moving the wireless module to your desired location.

Wireless speakers

Google "Samsung SWA-4000" The HTz310 is wireless "ready" only. You'll need to purchase this unit for about $100 to make your (Rears only) wireless.
