A Proscan ps35653 was new in 1993 this set has only been used one day out of 30.,... once a month it was moved to another home about a month ago.... Now the TV system will not turn on ...... I've not found the owners book yet.... but think that this system can be RESET by using the front panal.... It there anyway to reset this? if the power supply is bad what might it cost to have fixed... from what I've found online this model has had power supply problmes... If so why were they not recalled?

As far as I know there is no reset procedure involving use of the front panel. Service reset procedure is done with original remote.
By the way if it does not start you cannot do areset.
Check fuse on power supply unit.
If its the power supply it could cost anywhere between 50 to a couple hundred.
Yes it could be the problem of power supply.
or the problem of moisture on the power supply board due to rare use.it not helping tv to start properly.apply blower on the power supply board.
the cost of power supply board is near to $ 250.
but call the service center to replace it as if you will gwt and replace you will not get any warranty for it , and if the service center will do you will get the warranty of about nearly six months.
thanks.
please do rate the solution.

Alarm Setting:
1st: Press the mode button to go to the alarm screen.
2nd: Press the adjust button for the time to flash
3rd: (For the Hourly Alarm) You can adjust the time here while it is flashing by pressing the start/stop button. Cycle through this until you have the time you want. The setting will have the P in the left side of the screen for PM (night time).
4th: (For the Daily Alarm) Do steps 1-3 once the time is flashing use the Mode button to cycle through to the date field of the watch. Once it is flashing you can use the Start/Stop Button to chose which date Month/Day, after chosing the month just press the Mode button once more to go to the day field.
