Question about Video Game Consoles & Games
We have a leapster that my daughter has only had a couple months and it will not power on anymore. Nothing has happened to this game system and have tried new batteries, although we've been using the rechargeable batteries. HELP??
I have never used the Leapster before, But I researched it a bit and discovered that it uses "AA" Batteries. Were the rechargeable batteries you used before designed for the Leapster or were they older Ni-Cad (Nickel Cadmium) style batteries? Older Ni-Cads put out a slightly higher voltage than standard (1.7v) as opposed to the standard 1.5v. This could possibly cause problems. If you have only had it for a few months than it should be warranty protected. Hope this helps. Cheers!
