I purchased a 65 pint LG dehumidifer # LG LHD65EBL. This is the second one that I have had. I had to return the first one because it would not shut off when bucket was full. This one runs for about a minute then shuts off for a minute then comes back on over and over again. Is there a way to set the humidistate to a set number (say 40%) and have the unit run until it reaches that level?

First, tunr the unit OFF and unplug it for 10 minutes. Then plug it back in and turn it ON. It will automatically set at 70%. Press the - button and lower the humidity extraction level to 45% in increments of 5%. Once you reach 35% press and the - button one more time. Now the unit is set to run continuously, until the bucket is full and the unit turns OFF automatically or you manually turn the unit OFF.
