Hi, my Sylvania 6626lct 26" tv turns on, flashes digital television in bottom right of screen and then remains black. Sound is fine.

Watch some HD or other 16:9 programming. If you have pillarboxes on the sides it is likely that you are watching a 4:3 program that doesn't fit your TV's screen. When people upgrade from a "regular" TV to a "widescreen" model they changed the shape of the TV but didn't change the shape of 60+ years of TV programming, the only ways to force the "square peg" to fit the "rectangular hole" is to either chop off the top and bottom of the image or to stretch it. I highly recommend against either of these as "Stretch-O-Vision" is just wrong because it makes people look fat and turns car tires and other circles into short fat ovals.

Now the tv turn on,the tv have power and the LED power light indicator to the tv have stable power?Yes?Just a black blank LCD screen panel?Yes,than the only thing is wrong for this tv problems it is the tv Tuner signal board.That the board,where the incomming broastcasting signal cable wire plug into this board.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish tv Tuner signal board for the replacement.

you have a bad capacitor , go to www.youtube.com search for Lcd Tv Capacitor repair , and video's will pop up showing you how to change them and also how to tell which one is bad. need anymore help feel free to contact me

i use my 32 inch lcd tv as a pc monitor set on a resolution of 1360 x 768. most movies i watch will fill the screen

Try moving a medium powered magnet (not one for picking up heavy objects and not a refrigerator holding one) over the distorted area. If that doesn't work, try a more powerful one. This worked for my Toshiba LCD. Good luck!

a Mild cleaner...water and a micro fiber cloth.....if it smells dont use it!

throw the tv away, oh well, takes about 300 to fix it. Not worth it at all, good tv, but if you have problem throw it away.
