Hard wire into your router, enter ip address and then user name and password or factory default.
Change password security to none, save settings, cycle power on router. This will clear secutiy on router and now repeat the above steps and enable secutity and assign password.
well if u forgot your password u can recover it by simply connecting one of your computer with the help of cable to router port 1, then open the browser and enter 192.168.1.1 in address bar ... user name ....... (blank) password : admin go to wireless ...then goto wireless security ... and there is your security WPA key ...password.. make a note of it and try to connect it... it would work without changing any personal settings... Best luck try it out ...................
go to your internet browser type 192.168.1.1 then either it will take you to the page or ask for a password and user name (the default user name is "admin" and the default password is "admin") when your on the linsys page click the management tab there you can change the security key. now change it and scroll to the bottom of the page and click save settings after your done connect to it using the new password using windows wireless network connection
very sorry to say but yes the Old admin and passord is not gonna Work now Only way is to HARD RESET the Router with the Reset Hole behind router for 30 secs or More then again Reconfigure the Wireless
If you forgot your user and password of router then press RESET button of router for 10 seconds it is in back side of router.
Then all settings defaults.
Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link. http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.15.1 or http://192.168.2.1 If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it. Then it ask for user name and password. Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank. Then you can see configuration page of router. Then configure wan settings and lan settings enable wireless if you want to use wifi .
If you want to secure wireless then enable WEP in wireless security enter password there it is your password to connect wifi.Then save settings and restart router.

u click the opition and u and written the school name,pets name some other and wirtten the answer and give the refrence idy .ur passoword automatically send to the reference email idy.
hey of you are just new try to type on the user name "admin" then in the password "admin"
or "administrator" then also in the password "administrator" if you dont change it yet. but if you alrady change it you have to manual reset it it you forgot your password.hope it works.

Start up from a Mac OS X Install CD (one whose version is closest the the version of Mac OS X installed). You should first disable Open Firmware password protection, if it is enabled. Hold the C key as the computer starts.

Select your Mac OS X hard disk volume.
Set the user name of your original administrator account. Important: Do not select "System Administrator (root)". This is actually a reference to the root user. Do not confuse it with a normal administrator account.
