Some routers will have a firewall area that you need to allow those ports to traverse through it. Others will just require a new NAT entry.

If everything is working fine as it is, then it's more than likely a case of finding the "NAT" (Network Address Translation) area, or even the "DMZ" (De-Militarized Zone) area and then adding those ports in.

If a firewall is present on the device, you may need to specifically allow those ports through also. As for the specifics of where to find these options, I don't know your particular router, but it's a matter of clicking around the various menus's and tabs until you find it. (and they'll be labelled something similar to what I mentioned above).

p.s: Enter the ports as you did in your last post. "5060" and "5070" (which I believe are SIP ports)

How do i download majic jack free talk and text from my cell phone where i have wi fi connection?

Have you registered your phone number with magicjack, not the free phone number issued by them, but the cellpho0ne number you are using?
If not log into your account, using the email address and password that you used when you registered your magicJack.
https://web03.magicjack.com/my/index.html?
Once logged in, click on the tab named "International/Prepaid" and enter the telephone number you will be making International calls from and click "Submit". Make sure you enter it into the box associated with the magicJack that you have or will be adding International Prepaid Minutes to. You will receive an email with instructions and access code, 305-848-9999.
Dial the access code to start making International calls from the phone number you registered. Please remember that you can only register one additional number per magicJack.
Note: In order to make International calls you need to purchase International Prepaid Minutes.

Has dail tone no calls out

Is your Magicjack plugged into the wall power thru a power module? Try plugging the magicjack directly into a USB port on your computer. If the magicjack work now, then you have a bad power module.
I had the same problem. My Magicjack was plugged into a wall socket. First the dial tone became inconsistent, then I could no longer make calls out, then it died completely. I plugged the MJ into a USB socket on my computer, and it then worked nomally.

Problem:
The problem is in the seperate magicjack power supply module.
When the magicjack is plugged into your computer USB port, it is getting power directly from the 5 volt source in the USB port.
In order to use AC wall current to power the magicjack, a power converter module is needed. That module contains a transformer and rectifier that coverts 115V AC into 5V DC. It is that power converter module that is failing.

Tech section:
I decided to trouble shoot the problem. I measured the 5V output of the power module to be only 3.5V. I took the power module apart to figure out why it failed. I found two 220uF 10V capacitors that were labelled "Low ESR" (C8 and C9). I measured the ESR of these caps and C8 measured 1.5 Ohms. I replaced that cap and it fixed the problem. Output voltage restored to 5V. These electrolytic capacitors do not fail suddenly, they gradually deteriorate. The output voltage of the Magicjack power module will drop gradually until it hits a critical level. The MJ will start to behave sporadically, then it will die completely.

Solution:
I do not recommend repairing these power modules. I did it out of curiosity. These modules are very cheap.
Magicjack is aware of the problem. To contact them, go to www.magicjack.com and go to "support". They will ship you a new power module for about $5.50. Some people have reported that the replacement modules from Magicjack are no better than the originals and have had repeat failures.
Also, consider getting a power module from another source. There are lots of AC to USB power converter modules available on Ebay for only a few dollars. Search Ebay for "magicjack power adapter".

My magicjack is not working

Have you check the breaker for the circuit its on? Is there power to the jack? If yes try using it on another jack/phone or at a friends place see if it works there. If it does the problem is either with your phone or computer connection/setup, if you are using one.

I'm having problems getting my old home number to my magic jack

To switch a phone number from one company to another, you need to request your new phone company (magicJack) to "port" the number from your old company.

The key to making this work is that you can't cancel the old server until the porting is complete. After magicJack has ported the number, and you've confirmed that it's working, that's when you can call your old phone company to cancel service.

I can call out on my Majic Jack Plus but cannot receive calls. The majic Jack is registered and set up on my modem.

This could be failure of the power adapter module.
Is your Magicjack plugged into the wall power thru a power adapter? Try bypassing the power adapter and plugging the magicjack directly into a USB port on your computer. If the magicjack work correctly now, then you have a bad power adapter module.
I had a similar problem. My Magicjack was plugged into a wall socket. First the dial tone became inconsistent, then I could no longer receive calls, then it died completely.
I plugged the MJ into a USB socket on my computer, and it then worked normally.
If you have a failing power adatper, it will continue to deteriorate, and it will eventually fail completely. The blue power on the magicjack will not come on when it is plugged into the power adapter, but it will illuminate when plugged into the USB socket on the computer.
Note: the computer must be on to power the magicjack thru the USB port.

Magicjack is aware of the problem and offers a replacement power adapter module. To contact them, go to www.magicjack.com and go to "support". They will ship you a new power module for about $5.50. I changed computers now magicjack will not come on

On a new computer, you have to reinstall the magicjack software.
When you plug the magicjack into a USB port for the first time, you should get a message about installing software.
Something like: "Install or run program from your media".
If you powering the Magicjack directly from the wall AC and are not using a USB port, be sure the ethernet and phone lines are both connected.
