Bunn B10 Coffee Maker (Older Model) has began to pass coffee grounds into the serving pot. Have tried different filters and cleaned the spray heat. Any suggestions to prevent these grounds?

We keep our machine in pretty good shape by running a water and vinegar solution throught it. I take it that is what you mean by descaling. I would think that descaling would just cause the water to run faster.

Could the spray head be allowing too much water flow? Can the spray head be replaced? Where could I obtain spare parts and drawings for this type of coffeemaker?

These happent because the dripping water is coming faster through spay head than it should be. the water remains more time in filter thus the coffee rising up and pass over filter and filter holder thus some coffee grounds end in the pot.
The fisrt thing you should do is to descale the machine. If you have not made this periodicaly then perform it two times.
The second thing you should check the filter holder if it fit perfectly with base so to block the ground pass thought

I completely cleaned my bunn and ran cold water through it several times when it was unplugged. Shortly after plugging it in to heat up the water tank again (and without adding more water), it began...

A model number would be nice but since all (drip) coffee makers are generally the same in principle I'd wager it's your temperature sensor (underneath the heating plate) or when you plugged it in voltage escaped through the switch causing the unit to be 'on'. Think of a coffee maker like the first 1/2 of a steam engine. Water from the reservoir gets converted into steam by a burner (also warms the heating plate for the carafe) and instead of the steam driving components it gets condensed above the coffee grounds. Without that temperature sensor the burner would be going 'full blast' all the time and burn your coffee which is why a broken sensor will cause a 'no heat at all' issue while a failing one can give false signals to the control board. I hope this narrows down your issue and good luck!

Hi I lost my spray head for my Bunn coffee maker - is there a hack to still be able to make coffee while I wait for the new part?

Depends on your model. The smaller pour over units are easy as you prep your funnel with coffee as normal and get a full pot of hot water (just brew the water through the brew head and funnel to fill the pot.) If you have another pot or carafe, air pump pot. Then hold the coffee filled funnel (with coffee filter) over the empty pot and slowly pour the hot water over the coffee grounds. Go slow as you don't want to burn your other hand nor get grounds into the pot if you over fill the filter.
* If this is a 1-1/2 gallon brewer then the missing shower head won't mater that much as most of the 'flavor' is extracted in the first 1/2 gallon with the rest just filling the urn. If you do find the coffee to be weak then perform 3 separate 1/2 gallon brews to allow the grounds to fully soak and extract. Again, you can still do it manually as described above but it does get messy and very slow. (I've done this just to get something out to the customer. Well until I could get the repaired brewer up and running.)
* Most of the Bunn decanter brewers use a quarter size screw on spray head. No real substitute, though you could try a stiff sheet of aluminum foil to cover the coffee grounds in the funnel and poke holes into it. Though more than likely one of the waiters will dump it on the next brew.
* On one occasion (during lunch rush) I had to wait on a repaired urn to heat up but the waiter's needed coffee now! I took a pour over small brewer and made a pot with 1/2 gallon strength coffee and poured it into a larger urn then brewed more 'partial' batches till it was full. Hey, got to do what needed to get it out.
* You should always check with your coffee vendor as spray heads are very common parts and available at your local restaurant supply. There are other brands that use the same parts too like bloomfield. Ask around as this is a fairly cheap part.

Butter melted into top and down in to water container

mcdevito75 here, Try to clean your coffee maker by running a decanter full of white vinegar thru the system 2--3 times, then fesh water to rinse out the vinegar. Use a new or clean filter at the beginning of the vinegar treatment and after when you rinse with regular water.

My bunn thermofresh coffee pot will no longer keep the coffee hot. I always put hot water in the pot for up to five minutes to heat it up. This still doesnt help.

Is the coffee coming out hot enough? If you measure the coffee as it comes into the carafe, it should register at 175-185 degrees. If it doesn't, then it is a problem with the machine and needs to be replaced. If it is that temperature, then the carafe needs to be replaced. Please contact customer service with the model and date code located on the bottom of the machine. If the machine is 3 years or less it can be replaced at no cost. If over 3 years, it can be replaced at a reduced cost.

I have a bunn coffee maker, BT10-13. The reserve water takes very long to reheat after making a pot of coffee. Thus I can't make a second pot of coffee for a long time.

Are you rapid firing your coffee maker? Not designed to do that.. If the water heated that fast it would boil dry if you ever left it unattended and on. The reservoir is heated with the time it takes to drink a full pot taken into consideration for reheating.. If you are serving 20 cups with a 10 cup machine, Expect a delay, especially if you are refilling with cold tap water. Sorry.
