My sony ericsson w550i phone software is crashed.it had the latest software updated.and A still white screen appears now.where will i get my software re-installed.is there any website providing the phone software ?

you cant update the software you need to re install it for that you need to have the master cable ehich is connected to the place where you battery is located .

there are two kinds of white screen in n70 ,
the first one is because of damage LCD (glass screen) ,
defective display driver (small chips that makes the display works)
and the other one is corrupted software...in damage lcd the phone will detected
by computer because its software is still working...so ,
the problem of your N70 im sure is the second one ,
corrupted software....your phone needs to reprogram,and
need to go to a nokia care center to fix you problem...

This is not the result of a virus but rather a software corruption. Try taking out the battery overnight. If that doesn't help then yu need to get your phone's software flashed.

Try updating the phone trough Sony Ericsson's website. Using your data cable. You have to hold in the c button when you connect your phone to the cable. ( When the update service asks you to connect your phone.) Wait for the update to finish and check to see if it worked. ( Worked for me )
