My netbook compaq is no sound comes out. only headset working pls help me tnx! COMPAQ MINI CQ10-525DX I USEd TO PLUG IN TO MY COMPONENT AND OTHER SPEAKER FOR PC. I TRied THE STEP SUGGESTed to UNINSTALL DEVICE AND REINSTALL HD AUDIO DEVICE, BUT I CANT FIX THE PROBLEM PLS TRY TO HELP ME TNX SO MUCH!

2: head phones with 3.5mm phone jacks, these work like day1 new and now. do they/? as do buds .
3; USB devices, do not use them until you learn how. ask. USB is complex and fights the stock system.
3b, if you do use USB devices only the makers driver works, not MS drivers.
4: using external 3.5mm jacked speakers do work if they are for PC and marked amplied and has there own volume controls yes, turn that up too.
next time tell what is being plugged in exactly

if your earbuds work why would you change the sound driver, the green jack works , you proved that.
