Possible that the high voltage CAPACITOR or the transformer is short. So you need to isolate the total HT circuit to confirm , if the connection to the magnetron was removed.
Also check for any short on the surger protector at the front end of the supply.

Microwave oven blowing 20 amp ceramic fuse

Chances are if the varistor fails, it fails drastically causing a short circuit across the supply. It will sit across the supply (it will look like a thick ceramic capacitor) and you can check for continuity after isolating that at one end. If it shows low resistance (it should show almost open circuit with a Digital meter), replace it.

It need not be the culprit. If you are familiar working with High voltage circuits ( they are lethal inside a microwave ovens as the current capability is high here), you can discharge the doubler capacitor and isolate the high voltage diode to check for shorts in the HT area.

Micro wave works but do not heat up the contens model koc 970t

est the high voltage capacitor, the rectifier diode.or the magnetron. If all this are fine, test the control board.

Thediode and capacitors can br tested. The capacitor must bealloweddischarge before testing, or you risk to get electrocuted, evenifpower is off. Capacitors can get discharged by shorting theirtwocontacts.
Before replacing the magnetron test also the control board.
Replace the magnetron if the checks and all of the high voltage component tests are good, but the unit still does not heat.

All locations, and description of this parts can be located using the diagram here: Counter top.

Parts must be tested to find out what is wrong.

Remember that microwaves are potentially dangerous devices if not repaired properly, the job must be done by a competent person.
A microwave energy leakage test must always be performed when the oven is serviced for any reason.

It is a Dimension4 the Genius NN-C2000W Inverter Microwave. When we use the microwave function it automatically cuts out the microwave and power fuse. however, we can use the convection and griller...

You most likely a shorted capacitor which is causing the fuse to blow. This is part of the microwave HV system and isn't in use during convection cycles.

My microwave/convection oven blew a fuse. replaced it and the convection works but when I try to use the microwave it blows the fuse again. what needs to be fixed?

Typically, when the fuse blows in the microwave, the high voltage capacitor fails and becomes shorted.
The door switches are also configured in such a way that if tampered with (in this case, failed switch or latch) the fuse will also blow. Check the capacitor first.
