Cannot get Windows 7 to recognize ANY drivers for the Rio S35S. Nothing is working. Help! I have downloaded all of the software and drivers from Rio's site for the S35S, plus tried manually loading the drivers which does not work either.

You can either uninstall windows media player or you can restore windows to an earlier date and time.

Try connecting it without the batteries. If the device shows up in My Computer, right click on it and select format. It shouldnt need any drivers. They all use the Windows media Player default drivers. Best of Luck.

Then there is a hardware problem in your Rio, maybe the BIOS ROM went bad. Good Luck
