Cannot connect to internet on my Nintendo to view nexflex error shows 52130

You may need to manually assign a DNS server. NIntendo has instructions for that here:

If this doesn't help you can try calling the nintendo support line at the bottom of the explaination

Have netflix hooked up to wii, have code 52130 what does this mean

Error Code: 52130 Was this information helpful? The Wii is unable to connect to the Internet
Likely cause: The wireless router is incorrectly connected, or the Wii console will need a DNS manually entered.
How to fix: Check the way your router is connected; manually assign a DNS to the Wii.
  1. Check the connections to your wireless router:
Even if you are able to get a working Internet connection to your computer through the wireless router, if it is not properly connected to the modem, the Wii and other devices may not be able to use it.
    • Most routers have five (5) ports on the back. Typically there is a set of four, with a single port either farther away from the rest, or separated with a different color border or line. This single port is often labeled "Internet" or "INT." Make sure the cable coming out of your modem is plugged directly into this "Internet" port, and not into one of the other four that are grouped together.

  2. Manually change your Wii console's DNS settings. To do this, follow these steps:
    1. Access the Wii system settings (how to), and use the right arrow twice and select "Internet."
    2. Select "Connection Settings," and choose the connection file (1, 2, or 3) that are you are currently using.
    3. Select "Change settings" and click the right arrow 3 times to reach "Auto-Obtain DNS."
    4. Select "No," and choose "Advanced Settings."
    5. Click into the "Primary DNS" field and enter: 8.8.8.8
    6. Click into the "Secondary DNS" field and enter: 8.8.4.4Please note: These are public DNS's provided by Google and are subject to Google's Terms of Service. If you prefer to not use this service, doing an Internet search for "public DNS" will provide you with several other options you can use.
    7. Select "Confirm," and then "Save."
    8. Select "OK" to start the connection test. Once the test finishes, try to download the update again.
  3. If you are still getting this error code after trying the steps above, please call 1-800-255-3700 for further assistance.

How do you set up Internet on the wii?

To access the internet with your wii console you'll need either a wireless router/gateway, or a wii wired LAN connector.

1. Power on your Wii console
2. Access the "Wii Setting" menu by selecting the circular wii icon in the bottom left of the screen and then choosing wii settings.
3. Use the arrow on the right of the screen to move to page two, then select "internet".
4. Select "Connection 1 ' None"
5. Choose "Wireless Connection" (assuming you have a wireless router), then select "Search for Access Point".
6. Wait for your wii to scan, then select your wireless network, and if prompted enter your wireless network password/key. Then click "OK".

You should now be able to connect to the internet. If your Wii runs a connection test and it proves unsuccessful it will display an error code. If you get Error Code 51330 or 52130 this means the password you entered does not match the password on the wireless network you are attempting to join. A list of all other error codes and what they mean can be found here: http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems/wii/en_na/onlineErrorCodes.jsp

Error code 52130

This error is related to the wireless internet connection. You can either restart the router and the modem to refresh the internet connection. Or manually set the IP address settings of your Wii so that it will be able to connect to the internet.
