SOURCE: No Soound on Subwoofer from Yamaha RX-V363

I have the same setup. Are you going out of the subwoofer output of the reciever? (it's purple.) then into the LFE jack of the subwoofer (also purple.) That's the only connection you need besides power. If you have those right, try using your cable for something else to make sure the cable is good. Is the indicator of the subwoofer green? Mine comes on with the reciever. Good luck!

SOURCE: Hi ,Marantz SR7200 , i am getting an audible hiss

if your hooking up a phono input lead to a digital input lead it won't work analog and digital totally different setup. when you connect the leads up it just kills the input amp so there is no noise.

Looking for a list of receivers will run 901 Series 4 speakers with external equalizer for home theater use

The key to running the Bose 901s is to have the equalizer inserted into the tape monitor loop. Most 'old school' stereo receivers have tape monitor inputs. On an AV receiver, the VCR or CD analog inputs/outputs could be used but you will be limiting your listening to stereo sources. Please be aware that some AV receivers will not allow you to select different audio and video sources. The Marantz NR15xx, SRx004 receivers are pretty flexible, and allow you to pair up a component audio input with an HDMI (or other) video input. (No surround sound in this type of setup...)

How do I connect the audio from a Panasonic to p50-s1 to a marantz nr1403 so that I get surround sound audio?

The Audyssey setup does not use any audio from the TV. Audyssey is started automatically when you plug in the calibration microphone. Once you start the setup, it will output a calibration tone to each speaker. (Read the Audyssey setup instructions.) There is 1 digital audio optical input on the back of the NR1403. You will need a optical digital cable for the connection. Once connected, you'll need to use the input setup menus to select that digital sound input to go with the video input you are watching. Check page 15 of the manual.

I have a marantz sr7200 receiver and i am unable to get sound when its in DSS mode. The sound works in dvd and tuner modes.

In the setup menu, did you set up the input assignments for DSS to be the correct digital input or analog?

Osd won't come on screen

Register and download the manual for free at retrevo.com

Simply run a composite video (RCA) cable to the TV.

Denon 3600 osd

So I presume you haven't done ANY setup as the OSD is necessary for all of it.

Somwehere in the manual it probably says to run a single RCA video connection from MONITOR to a suitable Video input on the TV. How your TV works is anyone's guess. Select the appropriate input.

The manual probably discusses SETUP and how to initiate it.

No Picture from Component Input #1 or #2 but do have audio via Surrond Sound

Simplest thing would be that your component cables are not HU'd correctly. Having them reversed would do this.

Sr7200 LFE (sub woofer) output stopped working

Chances are if The Receiver only has sound in Stereo Direct Mode and all surround modes and Sub out are Inop the DSP (Digital Signal Processing) Card is most likey defective. These boards are not available from marantz (D&M Holdings) and must be Component level repaired which usually is not cheap. If Only the Sub out is not working check setup to be sure sub woofer is set for on. Also If On Screen setup menu does not appear on video monitor Unit may need to be Reset manually which entails discharging a Capaitor on main P.C.B Contact [email protected] for details
