My htc evo shift will not connect to the mobile network so i cant get calls or texts nor can i send them out

Check the message center no .. it might me wrong !!! Call ur customer care and verify the message centre no!!

becuase if not then it sure looks like you may need to have the phone updated...

Hi,
Either you have to flash the mobile or get a unlock code you have to take it to the service center, because to flash and get unlock code (both) the mobile has to be connected to the computer with a cable.

you can do this with a wireless router. get My Phone Explorer from the android market then get the app for your pc. connect and sync over wifi through the router.. done. the cool thing is you can use your pc keyboard to send texts and make and answer calls as well.as backup your your skype, and google accounts, calendar.... well it will backup everything on your phone,,,,lol

I have the HTC Evo Shift 4G and on some people i send a sms to it comes back to me saying "message sent using invalid number of digits" mesg # 2114
Please contact sprint , its a network based issue . They will take the details and rectify it for you .

Sorry!!!!!!!!!!HTC EVO 4G model mobile CAN BE unlocked...But it's IN CDMA Network Lock So that Not able to UNLOCK..Basically any Mobile locked to CDMA network Cannot be Unlocked,But the HTC EVO 4G locked to GSM network means yes Easily Unlocked from the Network LOCK,get the Unlock code here

Msg is not sending in my htc mobile, if i send it shows your text message can not be sent
Dear:Brother:
for sending text messages :
1. call to your network operator customer care
2. request the message center number...
3.note it down
4. go to message settings>message center number
5. insert the number which is noted by you and save it
this solves your messaging problem ...

I can not send SMS message. SMS Message Center Number Error
I had the same problem and came to this site for help but the solutions didn't solve the problem of "cannot send text message" on htc touch hd. All service numbers correct. Went to START/SETTINGS/CONNECTIONS/ADVANCED NETWORK/SMS SERVICE then changed from "gprs" to "gprs preferred". Double checked and had reverted to "GSM" but sms now works - finally!!! Hope this helps.
