I agree . it sounded quite hostile.. No need for that. they are fairly confusing to start. I liked that one with the many buttons. mine gave out and the store only had the one with minutes and hours on bottom and start and stop on side. The instructions are poor. I figured it out finally but they could have better instructions..
Open following links to identify timer and read instructions.
If this is not your timer, or instructions are in error, then add a comment with clear description of timer for possible help.

This answer was totally inappropriate. I asked for instructions on a Sunbeam Kitchen timer/clock, not a Wood hot water heater time. As to the first link, that too is in appropriate, as the only instructions are for the countdown timer function, not the clock function.
I have a Sunbeam kitchen clock/timer. it is small and white, with a large digital display. It has three buttons on the left hand side, hour, minute, and start/stop. It has a clip and a magnet on the back,, and I keep it on my refrigerator door. To set the countdown timer function you hold down the hr and min buttons at the same time til it beeps, then you set the timer. When you have finished timing something you are cooking, you can set the clock function. That's what I need help with. I can't reset the clock.
What's the matter with your? Open the links and identify the timer.
Either the site did not include both links And/OR you can't read And/OR you are ignorant about timer manufacturing. So which is it? Instead you downvoted the knowledgeable, professional and courteous answer offered by a timer EXPERT, who also offered further assistance to anyone finding this thread. The offer to provide further assistance to this asker is rescinded since this professional timer expert is not going to be disrespected by folks who expect the moon delivered on a blue chilled platter without bothering to clearly describe what they want. So good luck to you.

I am sorry if you were insulted, but so was I. Now that that has been addressed, I still cannot set the clock function on this timer. You are absolutely right, I know absolutely nothing about timer mfg. I do know exactly how to set the countdown timer on my timer. However, I only need that function every month or two. In the meantime, I want to return to the clock function, which I cannot figure out how to do. Please help me with that, and make it as simple as breathe in and breathe out.
