Stuck grinder Today I have not been able to use my Saeco Incanto. First, I thought there was not enough beans - however - it seems that there is a problem with grinder. It does grind and it sounds weird, after just a few seconds after I have pushed the coffee button, the grinder stops and the red light starts flashing. What shall I do?

    Hi,

I opened the machine in order to identify the problem. I removed some beans, but I could not find a more direct cause to the grinder problem. It seems that the grinder is totally blocked, the engine stops after one second and when I was trying to move the brass arm manually with tongs it was completely stuck. I did not want to use too much force.

    What shall I do?

Hi,

Thanks! It does not seem to be damp. I emptied the bean box and vaccum cleaned the grinder - I did not see any beans blocking the grinder. What would the next step be?

Hi,

make sure you not get any damp into the grinder. If you have damp in the grinder then it do not grind the beans.

    Hi,

Take off the wire from the grinder and try to get power to it to see if the grinder works, make sure to use the same volt that shows on the grinder.

Vac out the bean chamber, then remove the 2 or 3 screws and carefully lift the bean hopper off the machine, then continue cleaning the grinder, careful not to lose the gasket around the top of the grinder. When done reassemble and try to brew but do not add beans to hopper as yet. Until you are sure all the plastic pieces are out.

Beans don't seem to go into the machine upon use

The grinding burrs need cleaning if we consider that nothing have damage them.
First and simple advice is to use the vacum cleaner and try to s**k everything from the grinder and try again the machine. If the problem is insist then you need to resasemble the grinder and clean the hole grinder with the vacum and also with a wire brush.
Good luck

Coffee beans out of message

HI
I hate to tell you this but your grinder is bad. The sensor in the grinder is messed up, and thinks its done grinding after 3 seconds. The grinder will have to be replaced. Sorry

Grinder Blocked said on screen. Any Quick fixes?

This has happened to me twice. Usually caused by a trapped bean in the grinder. Here is how I fixed it. It is easy.

Inside the plastic bean hopper is a screw located in the bottom. Remove it and lift off the hopper. Have someone help you as you turn the machine upside down to remove all the beans. Use a tooth pick or a wooden skewer to pick out any beans lodged inside the grinder housing. Once completed, return the unit to its upright position.

Look inside the hopper and locate the grinder stem which is gold colored. On top of the stem is a hex bolt. Take a hex wrench with a 7/16 hex socket, connect it to the grinder hex bolt and turn it "counter clockwise" about half way which is the same direction the grinder turns. Add some beans and see if it works. If not, turn the hex bot "clockwise" a half to a full turn. Add beans and check.

This helps move the grinder out of its "stuck" position.

Water does not blend with coffee

Hi,

When you mount the grinder back, do you turn it so the red mark fit together?

Try to check the brewing unit, on the top off the brewing unit you will see a little pin. Take it out and make sure this is clean and put it back again.

Incanto-classic coffee beans do not flow to grinder

The machine automatically stir the beans since the blade make vibration and doing that shake the bean all around.Make sure the the tank is half full so the weight will help on that.If the container is almost empty the bean will fly around and don`t get in the grinder.Back up the machine to the original factory grinding and try to adjust again the wheel
