Have Toshiba Satellite A665 S6094. Recently had hard drive changed, which was under warranty. When I bought it, It had a 640 G drive and the returned damaged drive was a 320 G drive. How are they formatting to get the 640 G

could be the hdd,or the ram.or it could have lost its bootup.you may have to try safe mode if you can.if not you may end up putting a new set of windows on it.

Its best to go to local tech so they can reseat the hdd and check if it just loose. You can try to swap another hard drive to too. Check again if this can be detected at the bios.If its under warranty then get a replacement for it and reinstall the Operating system.

contact the dealer or manufacturer. This is a frequent problem for portable harddisks. Its a hardware problem,there's nothing much u can do. u wont be charged if u are within the warranty period.
If you can reset the laptop - restore the PC to the set date of installation of software.
If this wont help I suggest that you seek help from the dealer as the set is under warranty . It might have a corrupt OS or the drivers need to be reinstalled.
Yes its possible but that would mean a main board replacement too and the price is not reasonable for an upgrade part compare to a new laptop with a powerful graphics.
The "graphics card" in laptops are part of the motherboard. If you browse www.toshiba.com there you will find out exactly what you can do by way of updating drivers etc. And, I agree, a lovely laptop.
