How do i reset The Trilogy DL2700WP-26D i got the lock and dont know the code to use it?

Kevin, I think that you have a unique problem here and my best advice is for you to make a phone call to Alarm Lock, the manufacturer, because your lock may be under warranty.
The number is 1-800-252-5625 and they are locate in New York, so best call during East Coast business hours. Have the complete model number ready when you call.
A note of caution: concerning the DL 2700, there is an "internal-use" model, and a "weatherproof model" available for exterior use. The weatherproof model will have a number like DL2700WPIC/26D-Y
The WP is for WeatherProof; the rest of the number is for cylinder type, finish, and key type.
I hope that you have the correct model for your application.

First find out if you are dealing with a D2700 or the newer enhanced version. Press any 2 buttons and *,if you get a green LED and 6 beeps it is the new version. Old version remove battery and press any button. New version remove battery, press any number for 10 seconds,release, reconnect battery, press and hold the A button within 3 seconds, 6 beeps, release A button. the lock is at default and ready to program. To program new version 12345 A1A new combo A new combo this will set a new master code, if you are only using 1 code to open the lock this should suffice.
