I am using dell vostro1014,due to virus attack my operating system Windows Xp is failed .After reinstalling the Xp , I installing the Audio driverR231278 and i got message "media device not found" .kindly help me to install audio driver for my laptop

This is the name of a common ScareWare virus.
Boot in safe mode with networking. By repeatedly pressing F8 as the pc is booting. (if you see the windows logo try again)
One in safe mode download and install spybot.

It's not virus. I think your Audio Driver got error. Try reinstall driver for your audio device and it will work again!

You might find it difficult to get hold of windows XP keys since Microsoft stopped selling it.
If you get on google and search for something called TinyXP (rev09). I think that this willl solve your problem.

due to some virus attack the file might have got corrupted so due to that you are facing that problem ...

first just install some good antivirus and search for the virus & heal that virus after that reinstalling the OS XP solves your problem ...

if you have the antivirus installed already then it might not have updated from many days so it couldnt able to detect the virus ...

so i recommend you to install good antivirus & keep it updating once in a month atleast..
if it is already installed then keep it updating at least once in a month ...

try reinstalling operating system due to virus attack some system files got unstable... so try reinstalling it u will get rid of it...
