What's a 'lamb drive'? Do you have a schematic for this model? If so, let me know where you got it as I'm looking for one. What's the number near the part that is arching on the PCB?

IH power voltage abnormality or IH initial abnormality.

1. Check the AC input voltage
Check if the AC input voltage is within the specified range.
(especially when the heater becomes ON after the power is turned ON (the copier is warming up))
2. Check the thermostat
Check if the thermostat is blown.
3. Check the IH control board
(1) Check if the AC input connector on the IH control board, the LGC I/F connectors CN455 is
disconnected?
(2) Check if the fuse on the IH control board has blown.
(3) Replace the IH control board.
4. Check the LGC board
(1) Check if the connector CN332,CN334 and CN360 are disconnected.
(2) Check if the conductor pattern on the board is short- or open-circuited.
(3) Replace the LGC board.

Can a microwave be repaired?

Yes it is repairable, but if you do not have any experience in the repair of microwave ovens do not engage in their repairs because it is one of the most dangerous household appliances and the consequences can be disastrous. If light and turntable works than low voltage circuit (220V or 110V) works well. In this case the problem is in a high voltage (HV) circuit which is made up of the magnetron, HV diode (rectifier), HV capacitor and HV fuse or protect diode. Failure is in any of these components in "HV circuit" or in the main board. If light and turntable does not work than fault could be in power supply elements like: power supply cord, transformer, power board, fuse (glass or ceramic, ussualy 8A, 10A or 12A) on power board.

Whirlpool microwave keeps opening high voltage diode

If you do not have any experience in the repair of microwave ovens do not engage in their repairs because it is one of the most dangerous household appliances and the consequences can be disastrous. According to your description, low voltage circuit (220V or 110V) works well (light, turntable...). Obviously the problem is in a high voltage (HV) circuit which is made up of the magnetron, HV diode (rectifier), HV capacitor and HV fuse or protect diode. Failure is in any of these components in "HV circuit" or sometimes in interlock switch assembly or PC Board.

First, you must be sure which diode is blowed, reactifier or protect diode.

To check magnetron following this procedure:

Discconect the mains supply.
Check that the capacitor is discharged (by resistor 100 ohm / 10W or more).
Discconect the magnetron.
Measure the resistence between the disconnected terminals (should be app. 0.5 ohm).
Measure the resistance between the supply terminals (both) and earth. The resistance should be infinite.

Powers up , has audio but no picture

Plasma sets have two separate power supplies; the main supply produces voltage for everything and may even produce a specific voltage for the high voltage required by the plasma display.
In your case, it is likely that the latter (HV) supply has failed.
This may be a separate board and if so, may be user replaceable since these are normally outsourced and just plugged into the set during assembly.
Removing the back of the housing, you are likely to see at least three boards. One of them (the main board) will have many components and most will be smaller in size. The main power supply will have much larger parts on it and the high voltage supply will likely be connected to it and have far fewer parts than the other boards.
It is possible but unlikely, that the main power supply is not providing voltage to the HV board for the display.
If replacement of the HV board doesn't restore the display, then it will be necessary to replace the main power supply too.

I have a power supply of an LCD monitor. The model is PI-170DTLA and I want turn on the backlight lights without using the motherboard. How do this? What is the pin? What voltage i need? How control the...

You'll have to power the HV converter board of backlight from an independent power supply with the same voltage and corrent capacity than the motherboard provides, you can use a multitester to get these values or maybe thre's a sticker on motherboard providing this data, use the connector from motherboard to HV converter board to get the pinout, the brightness control can be get varying the provided HV to backlight. If you can get service manual or the circuit schematic of monitor will be helpful for your purposes.

Dometic RM3801. Propane ignition failure.

The older units has a 3 VDC glow coil the newer units have a 12VDC igniter.

Fromwhat your described above the next paragragh is your ignition system.

The igniter control voltages in the newer SPARK type igniters are (+) = 12VDC, (L)= high voltage lead (Spark plug voltage! I.e ruin your meter type voltage), (-)= Ground L is the lead that passes the HV spark from the control unit to the ignitor plate. The L lead should pass one heck of a hit if is workng correctly.
If not look at the HV lead to see if it is grounding out somewhere.

If the gas safety valve is not sensing gas pressure... you will not have 12VDC to the + terminal of the ignition moudule.

With the gas on and you have 12VDC at the ignition module + terminal then most likely the ignition module is bad.

Turned on tv no picture only sound then i heard a pop and smelled burning tv turned itself off. 5 min tried turning on tv again nothing happened tv does not turn on at this time

Your RCA TV needs serious troubleshooting. Burning smell is from HV transformer or resistors smoking.

Most likely power supply and/or high voltage circuit or convergence circuit. Many times RCA have multiple or secondary faults that occur with HV or convergence failure.

Repair of RCA HV or convergence usually requires exact manufacturer parts and upgrades or repair in power supply. I would not advise trying this repair without manufacturer support for correct part numbers and service bulletins.

Microwave will not heat up. All else is working normally.

either you have an electronic part called a "triac or SCR that fires the magnetron circuit that is bad on the circuit board, or the H.V. Diode is leaking in the same circuit, but this is near the H.V. capacitor and magnetron components and can't help in supplying high-voltage( -D.C.) to operate the magnetron circuit,it might be the H.V. capacitor, but normally they don't open, but if if they short circuit, the internal fuse will open up

COMPLETELY DEAD

Hey !!! I solved my own problem. After I soldered up the thermistor I still had the same problem so I checked all the known parts around the startup circuit including the power supply relay and relay driver. All found to be good so I then attached a scope and signal generator and applied a horiz signal to the base of the Horiz output...voila!! I got high voltage so I tracked the horiz siganl thru the circuit and found a coil to be bad along with 2 electroletic Capacitors. The Zenith part number for the coil is 20-4073-01 and its part # on the board is LX3262. The caps are 4.7 Mfd @ 50 VDC located at CX3261 and 10 Mfd @ 350 VDC located at CX3205. I hope this will help someone else.
