Use a search engine for "Onkyo TX-SR501 manual"??

Hint: retrevo has it.

You might also hunt for the TV manual as IT is a player in the scenario, too.

It can't see display so how we go bios. it jumber setting problem i say how to jumber setting in the mother board. but how and where i don'nt know.

o enter the bios Press DELETE or F12 or the key displayted on the screen saying Press key to enter setup. Its the first screen you see when you turn the system on, if you see a logo you can press ESC to go to the display screen with the information..

the JMP is a 3 pin JMP close to the processor. The defaults should be fine, so you dont need to adjust the jmp settings.

Sony sets will have good picture quality. There is no doubt about it. Check your picture settings. Download the user manual to this set, and refer it. Make sure that all picture settings are correct.

Can I plug a PC into one of the Onkyo HDMI ports? (TX-SR605)

Mike, I would agree. ANY device that either IS or emulates any hi-fi A/V device should work just fine assuming it doesn't deviate from the hardware standards of the 'real' hardware. Your Media PC is just another digital source as far as the receiver knows. Manuals don't mention everything because it is assumed that we know we can substitute compatible devices among the various in/outputs.

However, my own practice is to run every signal directly to the best device that enhances or uses it. NO VIDEO to my AVR (it goes directly to my monitor); NO HIGH-END AUDIO to the TV (it goes directly to my receiver). NO EXCESSIVE CABLES. NO PROBLEMS WITH UNNECESSARY CONNECTIONS. NO CORRUPTION OF ANY THE SIGNAL.

My PC's soundcard feeds both digital and analog audio inputs on my receiver so I have the flexibility of manipulating it in the analog domain for re-recording or just listening.

I have a Jensen TS2750J model ... am trying to hook up and be able to process the HD that the home I rent a room from receives that signal from their cable company ... but don't know how to get my TV...

Hi.

The setting on your tv for the best signal is the HRC setting.
HRC stands for High Resolution Cable.

If you connect the cable to the blue jack, and set your tv to HRC, when you scan for stations, it should pick up all of them, not just the analog cable stations.

Now, some cable companies require an additional adapter, provided by them, in order to recieve the cable signal properly.

This adapter is called a digital transport adapter.

You should contact the cable provider, and see if the adapter is required in order to recieve their signal properly.

I hope this helps you out.

Good luck to you, and have a good day.

NOt all audio is borne strictly on HDMI.

Have you looked at the manual?

The specific product you're inquiring about is not showing in your post. Name the make and model first, then we'll look for the manual. Then (maybe) find a solution. You might find it at the manufacturer's support site or these guys...

Need user's manual for Mitsubishi HD-6000

Mitsubishi Parts Dept. still had stock on an owner's manual for the HD-6000. I ordered one -- although the price was quite high. (Unfortunately, Mitsubishi no longer offered this manual for free download.)
