i had found a problem with a kia rio. it was saying tps sensor but after a couple of hours and alot of cursing it turned out to be the maf mass air flow sensor. these are expensive so i suggest that you take it to a kia dealer to have it tested or find someone who can do it for alot cheaper

evap purge valve fault is your p0443
p1693 is manu. controlled aux input output fault
p1693 is a code for an open or short to ground for the check engine light
does it light up when key is on? if so then it is a left over code from some previous repair attemt
the evap code wont prevent starting
check for broken timing belt
check for fuel in tank and that it has proper fuel pressure

The throttle position sensor on the intake area and the kickdown switch are both suspect in this. If your pushing hard enough to shift down it could be that sensor is faulty, If not the change in position is to fast for the faulting position sensor. Those are the cheapest things to replace, The other maybe the transmission modulator that tells the unit to shift down.

I have a Kia Sportage 2006 Lx 2.7l sometimes when try to park thr engine turns off , but when I restart the engine ITS running normally. I note that the rpm fluctuate sometimes.

basicaly you need to check your engine performace is it newly chance oil and tune-up???
when making a reverse your engine gets the load but if your rpm is flactuating the engine will stalled so make sure the engine is in good conditon.

Transmission shifts in and out of OD, rpm fluctuates

One of few choices, either park it in sun, with hood up as much as you can for a day or 2, and see if that helps or, start pulling connectors off around transmission, & throttle body area, & spray them & components with contact cleaner where they come together, and add di-electric grease to each when re-attaching. One other would be to get air nozzle & compressor & start blowing all around those connectors, as many as you see, and can reach, and you may get lucky.
