It is very easy to change ink in your Epson printers. First remove the old cartridges from your printer by following the instructions in your printer user manual. After that, clean the printer with cleaning cartridges. Then do a Nozzle Check and run another cleaning cycle. Repeat the last two steps for several times until only clear fluids get released. Now install the new ink cartridges into the printer and turn it on and start the prime cycle.

After the completion of the prime cycle do a test print. If everything is okay then you know that the printer is again ready for use. It is a very simple procedure but needs concentration and proper care. If you want a more detailed procedure then check it out at www.inkjetart.com. This site has detailed instructions on various Epson printers and matters related to it.

Ink absorber full

Ink Absorber Full
This may clear the ink absorber problem. There is ink absorbers located at both ends of the printer where the ink head move.
To dry the ink absorber, power up the printer and open the cover so the ink cartridges and print head will move to the middle of the printer.
Then take several sheets of absorbent tissue, fold it into a pad and place it inside the printer over the ink absorber on the far left hand side of the printer to soak up the excess ink. You may need to change the absorbent tissue a few times. Then repeat the same procedure on the right hand ink absorber.
Close the lid and the printer should now function normally.

Ink absorber is full and must be changed. Waste ink absorber is to be changed

You might want to try just resetting your printer rather than changing the ink pad. The warning is based on a count of how much printing is done, not a measure of full the ink pad has become. Consequences of not changing the ink pad, if truly filled to capacity, could be ink leaking from the bottom of the printer.

The following video show how to perform a reset that should work for your printer. The second video will give you an appreciation for how to change an ink pad and help you to decise whether you wish to attempt.

Trust this is helpful.

Trying to change ink cartridge on epson nx515 printer. how do I move the container out from under the printer to change it?

If your printer is out of ink, it will display the ink that you need to replace. Just open the lid and press the OK button.
If you want to replace an ink before it runs out, press the Setup button then go to Maintenance and press the OK button. Select "Ink Cartridge Replacement" or "Change Ink Cartridge", then press OK. You can now lift the lid then replace the ink.
