Help with IPAQ RX3715

Hi there, I'm having difficulty to resolve this issues. Hope anyone of you can help and advise me. Thanks in advance! (1) LAST USED APPLICATION When my rx3715 goes off (battery saving mode), my last used application & screen appears when I "on" it again. How can I prevent this? I do not want anyone who accidentally turn on my Ipaq to see what I've been doing (2) SENSITIVITY / PRIVACY In CALENDER, there is a "Sensitivity" option. What does it do when I choose "Private"? I don't see any difference, unlike my previous Palm PDA. Any information I set as "PRIVATE" will not be shown unless I choose to "Show All" after keying in my password. How do I also "hide" my sensitive and private information? (3) TODAY MENU In the START MENU, below my selected programs, are programs which were recently or last used. How do I remove or prevent my last used programs and applications from appearing?

(1) LAST USED APPLICATION Enable password protection. Start>Settings>Password (2) SENSITIVITY / PRIVACY Choosing "Private" prevents the appointment from appearing on your Today screen. I figured this out by creating two appointments for today and making one normal and one private. The private appointment is still viewable in the Calendar application, so if you want to prevent others from being able to access this, enable password protection. (3) TODAY MENU There is no way to do this using the software that came with the iPAQ. However, there may be third-party software that would accomplish it. I did a quick search that turned up nothing, but you might be able to find something. Try handango.com or pocketgear.com.

IPAQ Rx 3715 Internet settings~ conectivity problem

I have a few thoughts.

Occasionally, for no apparent reason, the ipaq will "forget" your password. Try re-entering it.

The other option is to try a program called Kasuei Hitchhiker. It is a more powerful and easier to understand interface than the normal ipaq one. you can download it here.

http://www.freewareppc.com/communication/hitchhiker.shtml

Hope it goes well! I'll try again if this does not work!

Connecting a Ipaq RX3715 to a wireless router

First, you have to be sure your ipaq has wi-fi feature is on and you can check on network connectivity option for any wrong setup there. According to your information, your ipaq is not recognized by your router and I agreed that your router is working normally. Try to reboot your ipaq and be sure to get wi-fi to turn on and try to connect it again. I have my Dell Axim also used Windows Mobile like Ipaq and it connected easily with no issue. The message in your to show me that you need first to identify your ipaq before you you can get it to connect to your network. I hope this help.

Ipaq windows mobile 2003 upgrade

This is a VERY general question. There are many many software upgrades for the ipaq rx3715.

If you mean upgrading the OS, then nothing short of Linux is available.

Otherwise, please ask a more specific question.

Defaults in Pocket Word

Does anyone know anything at all about changing defaults (other than what the software provides for) in any programs on the iPAQ? If somebody knows something about ini (or other) files that might let me change these defaults, that would be most helpful. Thanks!

Bluetooth gps rx3715

I believe that your GPS receiver is blutooth enabled. I believe the output COM Port for the RX3715 is com port 6 and follow the advice in the following address. It should be the same or similar but this represents a different model and the com port they refer to is com port 8 for ipaq 3970. http://www.acoretech.com/how%20to%20connect.htm
