How do you clear error code on a bizhub C350. A piece of paper was fused on the fuser unit and we were able to get the paper off. Now we have no access because the panel is locked.

The problem us located in the image unit area. You can check the cleaning blade and the drum. If the lines is one of the cyan, magenta, yellow or black color, then check the drum and cleaning blade for respective color (ex. if the lines is black, check the black image unit).

Fusing drive motor failure check the fuse the hot section of the machine REPLACE the fuser first if not that then the fuser took the motor out worse case the fuser took the motor and the control board.

Fuser units need to be replaced by a copier technician unless you are quite good at taking things apart.

How to clear a fuser error code (C0500, C0501, C0510, C0511, C0520, C0521).Solution To clear the fuser error code, perform the following after correcting the cause:
1. With power ON, open the front door and locate the small, rectangular hole below the imaging unit removal tool.
2. Insert a suitable object into the hole to actuate the reset switch .3. The code should clear and a message to close the front door should appear.

After replacing the fuser unit, if you got a c0501 code you must open the front door where the toner is. On the right side (hinge side) next to the black toner and drum unit there is a plastic pannel/cover. In the lower portion of that pannel there is a hole where a trouble reset switch is loacted. With a flashlight you may be able to see it. You are ment to use a thin screw driver or the like to push the button. You do this while the machein is on and desplaying the code. As soon as you press the button the copier will clear the code and start warming up. Thats it! If you are un certin of the button placement you can take out three screws from the pannel and loosen one screw from the pannel above it and and pull the pannel off the unit. You will see the board and it is the button on the (left), as there are two of them. Tho you only have access to the one thru the cover.

If you want to clear the fuser message you have to be sure you replaced the fuser web. Then go to 25 => counter clear(items 13)=> Clear fuser counter or 36=>counter clear(items 8)=>Clear fuser counter.

the error is COF32. You have to check the developing unit, to change the developer is needed and to run atdc auto adjust.
