change battery.... if doesn't help,. open device and check screews that are holding display, if it's loosen, tight it up
Run the software calibration for easy troubleshooting, and fix it. However adjust the REED switch, clean it, and tight all plug or connector very well. Please read you instr. manual or download from www.iconservice.com God bless you
It sounds like a short circuit somewhere in the watch. A visit to the authorised dealer sound necessary.
To find your nearest dealer go to "casio.com" click on "support" , then from the menu on the left, click on "repair and service" to find your dealer or service center.
Check the batteries first before trying to tinker with the display. Also check for accumulation of fungus, if any, which can also cause the display to fade..............sodeep
You have to replace the battery with the new one. In most cases underpowered battery causes faded or even disappearing digits on LCD unless your watch has been damaged by water. Find your nearest watch repair shop or do it yourself.

The blinking asterik means low battery. Could be that your replacement batteries aren't full power.
What is really sounds like is a static charge problem though. If you don't have anything stored in memory that you are worried about losing, try taking the batteries out for a full 24 hours. This will let the capacitor drain and performs a static discharge. After 24 hours put working batteries back in.
way to do it > insert stylus in left bottom corner of ur phone but before it take back up or consult service centre coz might be display issue good luck
