Neeto know how to install i don't have the manual

Have you ever installed an air conditioning unit before? If not, even if you had the manual, I would advise against it. They are not the easiest things to install, you have to place them correctly and ensure that you have a suitable distance between the inside and outside units.

Why not get a few quotes from qualified installers? You can always say you'll think about it and get back to them if it sounds too expensive.

If you are really determined to proceed yourself, type into Google the make of your unit and "air conditioners". Look for "contact" and send them a message quoting the model number, asking for the service manual and fitting instructions, good luck!

I was given the kenmore/danby 461.35723-7 portable air conditioner by a friend. I don't have an installation manual and have a tall slim window. Could you please e-mail me a installation picture or...

The model number you listed didn't come up for Kenmore. However, the similar Danby model's Owner's Manual may help you. You can download and print it for future reference.

I have a kenmore portable air conditioner. It was given to me so I don't have much info on it. When we use it we have water on the floor after we shut it off. We have ruined the rug . We replaced the...

It from all you said, it sounds like it's condensation dripping from the cooling coils. They are probably dirty and therefore the condensation is not evaporating like it should. Also, the air intake filter may be dirty or clogged.

Since you don't have an owner's manual, locate the model number of your unit and then go online to Sears Parts Central. Armed with the model number you will be able to locate the Owner's Manual and download and print it for future reference. It alone, will prove invaluable.

Hope this helped you and thanks for choosing FixYa.

I have a Maytag window air conditioner unit (model M6T12FSA). The 'check filter' light came on and after I cleaned the filter, the 'check filter' light remains on even after a few hours of...

Turn the unit OFF & Unplug it. Remove the filter and reinstall it, being sure that it's installed properly. Particularly, which way the plastic filter frame is facing when installed.

Plug the unit back in and turn it ON. Hopefully, the electronics now will accept the filter being properly in place.

Hope this helps and thanks for choosing FixYa.

It runs but " OPERATION

When you turn on the unit by pressing the power button on the unit instead of the remote. the operation light will stay on because it is being operated without the remote control. there is nothing wrong with the unit. if you have the manual you can confirm on page E-25. best of luck.

Dehumidifier ices up on the coolant inlet tubes, but the condenser stays just cool and no water collects in the bucket. The setting is full "on."

You didn't identify what brand and model number dehumidifier you have. But, most have a defrost cycle that takes care of frosting on the inlet tubes, if it gets severe. Also, check the air intake filter. If it's dirty or clogged, the unit has to strain to keep up. If you do decide to pull the filter, turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to OFF and unplug the unit. Wait at least 12 - 15 minutes, before plugging it back in. Then turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to ON and set your controls as you normally do. Give the unit an hour or so, and check the bucket for water. That 12- 15 minute timeout, may have given the unit time enough to reset itself and function as it should.

Hope this helped to solve the problem.
