Hello
Your TV has no direct cable connector. You can connect it to cable via converter using SERIAL (D-Sub 9pin [RC 232] type connector wire from converter to your TV. It is designed so. High Density D-Sub 15 pin connector is used to connect this Tv with computer. OK.

You can buy an HDMI to DVI adapter (around 20$) to connect your HDMI computer cable to your TV. You will need separates audios cables, right and left, to bring the sound to the TV.

Game console and plasma displays

You did not list which console you have and what type of cables it has.

Looks like your plasma has:
1 component
1 composite
1 VGA
1 S-Video

If this is an xbox360 or PS3 then you will want to use the component connection, but this one is already used by the cable tuner. Don't worry there is a solution. The xbox360 and ps3 output a higher resolution that your plasma can handle, so use the component with those systems.

If it is an older console, predating the xbox360, then use the composite or S-video connections.

Since you are short on video inputs, you might need a video switch. A switch with both component and S-video connections for future add-ons.

You can find them all over the web, or your local video store like walmart and best buy. Here is a switch i found on ebay that should work:

here is the ebay search i used:
http://tinyurl.com/2ograc

Make sure you buy extra cables, most of these boxes do not come with cables, so buy what you need.

I prefer video switches that don't require a power outlet, but it's your choice. Some of the powered switches, have remotes for the lazy people, but I don't need anymore remotes on my table, keep that in mind.

Need help troubleshooting sudden "no signal" error

This is an issue with IC 803 on the Z board. This is a 3.3 V regulator that supplies this voltage to the slot card cage. Most input boards use this voltage EXCEPT the component board which is why it keeps playing along whike the DVI, HDMI, or composite signals will cut out after warm-up.

This is a surface mount multi-pin IC and is a bit tricky to replace.
The entire board is PN# TNPA3198xx with suffix determined by what model 7 series plasma you have.

This was a problem from around Nov. 2004 to Mar. 2005

New TV - no picture at all

Try pressing input on your remote and make sure the source is selected to what you have it plagged in. For example cable box plugged into hdmi1 set input to hdmi 1. Also can you access tv setup at all? If not your tv might be bad to begin with.
