this site will assit you with soving the blinking light . there could be a paper jam, resize to fit, go to th site indicated and find the blinking lights pattern you are experiencing, and then follow the steps
to resolve the issue.
Hi this problem has many reasons : - no paper or error in paper feed sensor. - jammed paper in printer thats prevent it continue. - try to disconnect usb cable and if its stop lighting reinstall the driver - else you must search about hardware errors
the obvious fault is a lack of communication between the computer and the printer from not having the correct driver installed
using microsoft drivers can lead to problems so it is best if you go on the HP web site , select the driver download for you model and install the driver direct
you can also right clivk on the printer and then click on properties tab , click on compatibility tab then click in the box and high light the win os you are using to rectify compatibility problems
Depends which red blinking light. I assume the red light is the resume light. The green light is the power light. If the Power
and the Resume
light are blinking alternately, then you have a paper jam somewhere in the printer. remove the paper jam and you should be fine.
1.Turn the printer on 2.Press and Hold down the Power Button. 3. While Holding Down the Power Button, open and Shut the lid of the printer four times. 4.Release the Power button. The self-test prints.
I believe this is normal with HP deskjets. I have a different model but HP deskjet 3740, which also gives a blinking light when there is a pending print job and or printer has run out of paper. I usually get rid of this problem by putting some paper and most importantly removing and re-plugging the printer power cord (which does a basic power reset on the printer and causes a refresh of pending print jobs). I hope this works for you too.
