Driverack pa plus sends this message WAITING FOR FLASH DOWNLOAD V. 0.109. i tried hard and soft reset but nothing happens, is there a solution?

This will be a repair issue, rather than a reset problem.

Have you tried it with batteries? Are you sure the power supply is working correctly? It should not need the OS to operate as a keyboard disconnected from the computer.

The cable connection is just a MIDI cable that uses opto-isolators so the 2 items are electrically isolated from each other. The software driver for the Korg should load without problem. The Korg program itself may be looking for inputs that are not there when the keyboard is off and the program itself reaches a stop command.

If the PA80 will not work on just the power supply- the power supply can be the fault- it has an internal fuse. Finding a similar supply with the same coaxial plug wired the same polarity is the way to test it if the battery option is not available.

There is a speaker protection circuit that uses a lamp that will light IF you are driving the spoeakler TOO HARD !!! You can search for "Peavey speaker protection" circuiot online.

QSC powerlight 3.0 should do the job with ease.

You MAY be driving it too hard. If you are sending large bass pulses like from a drum machine to this, it may be overdriven. Check if the clip light is coming on. If it is coming on, back down the volume. If you can't live with the volume at a level that doesn't clip, then you need to get a bigger speaker. This is a 12 inch which is really not suitable for running drums through. Good for vocals and some instruments. When you run up to clipping level the gain is cut in the electronics to protect the unit and that results in a distortion or fuzzie sounds.

If the power supply is NOT the original one, it may be reversed polarity.

The supply should be a PA-3C with the center being "+".

I had to uninstall all line 6 programs and the do a search on my computer for any files that did not get deleted with the uninstall and delete them. After a cleaning of all line 6 products I reinstalled the programs and drivers for the midisport and got my amp reset.

I still can not use the program Line 6 uses to edit patches ( midi time out) . but I can get back to playing. I going to try to do all of the line 6 stuff on a computer I just wiped the harddrive on. that should clear all conflicts.
