Tiffany ,,something real handy if you have a netbook is an external dvd /cd drive, from there you can install the operating system again--your problem is a sign of corrupted install/bad site/code/etc.Only a reinstall will properly reset your system.
Good Luck

Remove the power chord. Remove the battery. Remove all the external peripherals. Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds. Put the battery back in. Turn on the laptop.
It should work fine now.

if not turn the laptop upside down then slap it lightly 3-4 times
this will then surely fix the problem and if not then take it to the service center.

Disconnect all the devices from the computer(tower) including keyboard, mouse, monitor(everything)..even the power cable

Now keep on holding down the power button on the computer tower for 15-30 seconds..

Now release the power button, plug in the power cable, monitor, keyboard, mouse and turn on the computer...

If it works, great!!!

Otherwise, take it for repair..
