Haier XQG50-11 Front Load Washer / Dryer Logo
Posted on Jul 20, 2011

My friend has an xqg65-11 all in one that she bought used. It worked fine for a few weeks, then started to not move to the next cycle, it just stopped. She has been manually clicking it to the next cycle. Now it has a wet load of close and won't dry, but gets hot on top. She doesn't feel any heat at the door. She wondered if there is a lint filter somewhere? Thanks.

There is a lint filter right under your washer door. You push that lid open, and you will find the lint filter. I have the same machine. but min is an xqg50-11. Is that a washer/dryer combo?

Is it possible that you didn't drain the air out of it after you used it a couple of weeks ago? If the pressure in the tank is somewhere around 100psi, the compressor won't run until it drops lower. If there is no pressure in the tank you might see if you can wiggle the pressure lever that makes the switch move to turn on the motor - it might be stuck.

Dryer stops but the timer continues on

Fixed! The "push to start" button was stuck. Must have been some dust. I pushed the knob a few times and that's all it took. Works fine now.

HE2 front loadable washer doesn't move fm wash to rinse to drain

Sounds like the door lock. It will not advance to spin if it thinks the door is open. There is a instruction sheet inside the unit behind the lower panel. That will give the error codes for the flashing lights.

Perfoma washing machine won't go through rinse cycle.

Hi
After investigating the logic of the machine and how the timer works, I traced it down to the cold water solinoid rubber stopper It had crud in it and just hummed. After cleaning it out it ran just fine..
This is an easy fix.. If it cant run water it wont go to the next part of the cycle.
I hope this helps. I have more info if required.

Start button not working...can't get machine to start

The micro switch is bad. I had the same problem cleaned the switch a few time (nd bought some time) but in the end I moved a switch from a cycle we did not use to the start position. Cost was nothing but my time (must have skills in soldering PCB assy). Worked fine since, almost a year now. However I have had several unrelated problems and would thing twice before putting any major money into this unit. In the 3 years I;'ve had this unit I've fixed the switch, installed a new pump assy and put in 2 thermal switches (unit appears dead when they go bad). I've done all this myself and the bills would be between $700 nad $1,000 to call service.
