Samsung DLP I just replaced the color wheel on my Samsung DLP HLP4663. Now my picture is a bit fuzzy and has a shadowing effect on dark colors. I'm not seeing a jumper anywhere. Is the jumper something that covers those two pins just under the label? Those pins are exposed on my TV, so I assume I don't have a jumper. My next question is, can I just go in and change the CCA settings. I got some settings that came with my new wheel. I just want to make sure I don't screw anything up. I've heard the CCA settings are very touchy. Thanks!

Its a Good Possibilty that its the New Color Wheel causing this,if the colors are not complete on the color wheel then that will be why you are seeing shadow on right hand side of screen.
I know I ordered color wheel for mine and had to send it back,it did the same thing.
I compared it to the old color wheel and the new one did not have Solid colors on it.
Can you see picture behind the shadow? or is it shadow and no picture?
You probhably have the wrong color wheel. There are several different ones and its imparitive that you replace it with the correct one. If you search here theres someone else that had the same issue and when they put thier old noisy color wheel back in the problem went away.
Yes,the tv have a colors wheel and it is the cause of these problems.Humming noises,motor noises,picture flashes black&white or colors pictures within the pictures.The colors wheel,is dying or already dead.Hire a tv tech. replaced the colors wheel,will solved ur tv problems.
There is a piece connected to the color wheel assembly called a light tunnel. It is between the color wheel and optic assembly. There is 4 mirrors inside. One of them probably got dislodged when the wheel shattered. Sometimes they can be repaired using high temp glue or you may have to replace the tunnel.
If the color wheel you replaced was the BP96-00674A, it would have come with the proper cca adjustments for that particular wheel. You must enter the service menu and reset the cca's for proper color.
