MP3 Audio Book sync problem with Nana 8G

I have an MP3 Audio book downloaded into iTunes. When I sync iPod Nano 8G with iTunes, I get error message saying can not download the MP3 audio files. How can I fix this. Can I transfer MP3 audio files directly from the D Driver into my Nano?

I did what was perscribed, but still did not work. When I connect iPod to computer, it is not seen in My Computer. It seems to go directly to iTunes and My Computer does not see the iPod connection. I continue to get the following error message:
"Some items in the iTune library, including forward, were not copied to the iPod because they could not be found."

Hidden files in enabled in the folder settings.

It seems that you're Ipod is not detected by your computer that's why you have the problem, try connecting your ipod to another usb port on your computer, close the Itunes then open it up and check if the Itunes will detect the ipod and if yes go ahead sync the mp3..

Hope that helps........

try reloading the software again.may it help.but if not able to do.i will suggest you to call the engineer at you place to do it.as the cost may be not more then his service charge, and he will be having all the required software cd with him.and if some thing goes wrong it will make your i-pod corrupted.so dont make it scrap.and call a engineer.thanks.

Yes you can, plug the ipod into your computer, you will need to get show hidden files enabled from the folder settings and browse into the ipod and transfer the mp3 files there.

It will not sync. I downloaded the new version of itunes and i keep getting a error message saying that sync to ipod was not installed correctly. please help.

When you go to the ipod menu on itunes you should see a button that says restore ipod to original settings. Hit that, let it download to its original settings and try to sync it. It should work, i had the same problem with my nano

My new ipod nano 8G will not sync

Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed. Make sure iPod is not set to "Manual" mode. Click on the ipod icon under the devices menu in iTunes. You may have to scroll down to reveal the manual or sync settings in itunes window.

I bought an Audio book when I downloaded on Ipod it wiped all my music out.

Hey,
It seems like you have some problem with syncing. Try going on your ipod screen in itunes then tick the box that says "manually manage music". Try coping the auido book and then your songs it should work.

good luck!

Ipod Extras

I have never used the new nano, but it should be the same as all the others. Plug in your iPod to sync with itunes and when it comes up, there should be a tab saying 'contacts'. Select that and then check the sync contacts from box and change windows address book to micrcosoft outlook. Click apply. You're done.

The Itunes software needs to be installed on your computer for you to be able to move and sync files. You can download it for free from the Apple web site.
