Hi my sons phone is showing enter PUK code! can you help or do I have to contact his network/supplier? thankyou

The PUK is the unlock code for the SIM card, not the handset, it is requested when the user enters the incorrect SIM pin 3 times. Please contact the service or network provider for the PUK. Alternatively check the card that the SIM card was attached to at point of purchase. It usually has the phone number, PIN and PUK written on it. After you enter the PUK, you will be required to enter a new PIN this can be any nummber that your son can easily remember.

The phone asks for PUK code ( Personal Unblocking Key )if a wrong PIN code is entered repeatedly.

PUK code is a security feature related to the SIM card you are using with the phone and it can be only provided by the service provider.

So kindly contact the Customer support of your cellular service provider using another phone and they will provide you with the PUK code.

Please note: Entering a wrong PUK code repeatedly will permanently disable the SIM card. So please be careful while entering the PUK code

First PUK means, personal unblocking key. It is simple to get it off the phone. The PUK can be found mostly in the pack where you took out the sim card of the phone from. You will see some codes on the pack of the sim, there you will also see the PUK code, enter it and it will ask you to enter a new security code. Then you enter it and the sim will be unlocked.

PUK mainly blocks the sim card from working on the phone. you can use a new sim card on the phone and it will work perfectly fine.

If you do not have the sim pack, you can contact the customer care or help center of the sim card and they will give you the PUK code. try that with another phone.

Hi, There are 2 ways to get your PUK, a) look on the packaging that came with your phone.
b. Ask network supplier.

Ring your network supplier explain situation and they can issue you the PUK and help you get your phone back on track.

puk code is a sim problem it means you entered a wrong pin in morethan 3 times, i suggest to contact the customer service.

You need to call your network provider and they should tell you what the PUK code is or reset your phone. it is free. its happened to me before and cause im with 02 you can just go on the website and get your puk. best thing to do is call your network though.

you will need to contact your sim network for the puk code they will give you the code to unlock the phone . do not enter any other number in the phone,
untill they give you the puk code .

Every PUK code is unique so nobody can tell you your PUK number, but i will tell you what you can do!
1) If you still have your packet that your Sim Card came in, you should find your PUK number in there, if you don't have the packet, please read bellow.

2) You must get a phone that is on the same network as your phone and call the networks Customer Care and ask them for your PUK number, they will ask you for your phone number, then they will tell you your PUK number. Once you have done this, you will be able to reset your Pin number so you will be able to go into your phone again.

To find out what your puk code you need to contact your network provider thay should be able to give you your puk code so you can use the phone again
