Make sure that the passage between the freezer and fridge is not blocked

best setting are fridge +2C to +5C...freezer -18C to -20C.the super button takes the freezer even colder to fast freeze fresh food.

if you have the settings correct then the cold control(ref setting) is bad. but some older models use a baffling system which confuse some people. the freezer settind turned to the lowest setting make you fridge colder. when you put the freezer on the highest setting it allows less airflow. which in turn keeps ref warmer.

check to see if an internal fan is fitted. This may have stopped/ burnt out. if fan is running try 24 hr defrost.

turn setting off of max for freezer this allows a colder fridge, opposi of what one would expect! a common cause for service!

Make sure your fan is working ,its located behind the freezers back wall. If it is working the vent from the freezer down to the refrigerator may be blocked (usually with ice).With out a fan you have no circulation but your freezer may look likes its working,it may last 3 days.Also if you can move everything out unplug it turn it off w/ doors open untill all traces of ice are gone this will free up any clogged tubes. There is a vent that is connected from the freezer down to the fridge right where the fan is,make sure nothing is blocking it.

Check fan for operation and vent duct for ice or the damper sticking between the two compartments. It does not take much when the freezer is on bottom, colder air (because heavier) remains there without proper circulation. I will be trying to find the maintenance /service manual to help resolve this. JT

if all that is ok then you need to check the heater and bi-metal / if it starts frosting up you loose air into the refrig side and the freezer will start going down too / frig side gets tem from freezer ,,,,, i bet you have a bad defrost heater / larry
