Are there availability issues for parts for the Savin 8035? We have one in our office which is under a service agreement and have been told it will be 2 weeks for a part. Is that realistic? We're being told that the Savin is becoming an inferior product and all parts will be on a 2-week timeframe. Thank you.

Try going through the Ricoh website, the product code is B291. The Savin 8035e is the same as Ricoh Aficio MP 3500, Lanier LD335 and Gestetner DSm735e. Hope this helps

that would be a machine malfunction already try to see the entrance of the printer near the ribbon if attached correctly maybe some small parts have been malfunction near the cartridge slot

Press the yellow button ( reset button ) then press 107 then press and hold the red button (stop button ) for about 3 sconds until the display changes. Touch copier on the display screen. Now turn the copier off using the on off switch on the left front side of the copier. If the cold comes back the Thermostat in the fuser is most likely tripped and would need to be replaced.
if you have Scan capability on this machine then yes you can you have to create a user box and then scan to that user box and save it there. and you can print it out whenever you like
