Question about Kenmore 79383 Dual Fuel (Electric and Gas) Kitchen Range
The F1 error code is a failure of the electronic oven control. This
could be caused by a stuck keypad or an internal malfunction of the
control. You will need to disconnect power and wait at least 30
seconds, reapply power and if condition still exist you will need to
replace the electronic oven control.
You will also need to check if the oven is overheating. If the control has sensed a runaway oven temperature it will display an F1 error code. This could indicate a failure of the oven temperature sensor.
