I seriously hope you've gotten this resolved by now...
Unless it got wet (!) it's likely a bogus one. See my comment under"little spring" for info about fraudulent knockoffs.

Husqvarna 372xp won't start... Mysterious

I recently bought a brand new 372XP and spent the first day trying to start it as per the instruction manual with no success, never even fired once. Removed the plug to find plenty of fuel and that the plug has a good spark. Left it until the next day mainly to allow my arm to recover (& scour the internet for clues). I found a forum that said not to use the decompressor and sure enough without the use of the decompressor button it fired first go with the choke on then I reset the choke & it ran properly on the second pull. The decompressor button can be reset with fine nosed pliers or removal of the top cover by undoing three screws. Good luck it's a great saw once you know how to start it.

Heard a loud pop...saw a bright flash...burnt smelled and dryer stopped working. Circuit breaker will not re-set.

You may have a wire that has come loose of it's restraints and is rubbing on the drum as it turns. This would cause the wire's insulation to wear off, and if it's an electric dryer, you're dealing with 220volt wiring. The spark and burning smell is similar to arc welding.
You'll need to open the dryer up and find the damaged wire and reinsulate it with electrical tape or heat-shrink wrap.
It should be easily visible ...look for the burnt, blackened marks..

Saw sparks and heard a pop noise when we hit ''start'' on microwave

We just had the same problem - spark, loud noise, and then dead. At first I replaced the ceramic fuse and the same thing happened immediately. A local appliance store tested the transformer and found it was "bad." I purchased a used transformer from the store for about $35. I installed both of these myself with little effort.

Electric Dbl Wall Oven-loud popping noise at end of self clean

Bill ,i dont suspect the control unit is the problem im going back to the loud pop you heard I would say the pop you heard was one of the elemants blowing and that the reason the the breaker tripped if you say the clock, timer and light functon are ok it more so points to an elemant in most cases when an elemant blows it breaks the circuit .but the other componants also work when you reset the breaker i think in this case bill i would call a electrician it needs testing, sorry i could not help this time bill, but do not hesatate to contact me if i can help you again.adrian

Loud pop with smoke

Don't know why just plugging it into a new outlet would cause that unless you have a problem with that outlet. Sounds like it may have burned out the low voltage circuitry. I would advise having the outlet checked and certified safe before plugging anything else into it. Also, it sounds like the oven is toast, (Sorry!)
