Hi, there seems to be some sort of electrical or software problem with my treadmill (york monza elite plus.) I only bought it yesterday (new) and it has run for a total time of under an hour. I noticed on my first use (at about 50 minutes) that the console screen 'blacked out', yet the treadmill continued to function. Going to use the machine again later, the buttons on the console would not respond but when I switched the machine off and then on at the back, the startup screen would automatically be displayed (without pushing any of the console buttons.) Occasionally, startup will get so far as to allow me to select a couple of functions but then cuts out again, making the treadmill unusable. Initially, I used a powerboard to connect the lead to the wall. I have since moved the treadmill so that I can plug it directly into the wall. I have since tried 'resetting' (including unplugging the power cord at both ends) but still only get a startup screen with buttons that don't respond. Any suggestions? Thanks

My razr V3 dropped from an astonishing 40cm to the floor, after that both screens stopped working. I opened the screen by removing the four tiny screws in each corner (t5 screwdriver which I didn't have but the smallest of my miniature screwdriver set just fitted), and popping it up carefully. There a two flatcables, one with a silvery color and a connector with a black piece of foam on it. I think it's the screen signal carrying cable. I removed it and put it back in place, pushing it firmly. After that the screens worked again. 10 minutes of work and a great deal of satisfaction. Further, the phone stinks. regards, El Rudo

on the signal board replace the caps by the 5/9 volt regulators. c2p04 is the main culprit. 6 caps in total can be changed. I believe c2p05 also.

There are TWO buttons on the machine that have the little u-turn on them. Look for the other one. That is the one that makes the second half of the buttonhole. Look in the owner's manual, it may tell you where it is on your machine. I spent a long time swearing at my machine before I figured out that the reverse is not the only button with the u-turn arrow. The manual is not clear on this. Why they use the same symbol twice is beyond me. Mine is on the front of the machine, down by the needle. Hope this helps.

Your model has a maximum resolution of 720p. What you might want to do is make sure that both your cable/sat box and game stations are outputting at no more than 720 resolution. It's easy to assume that all HDTVs may accept a higher signal, and while they might, some of the scene changes or handshakes may make that operation cause the symptoms you describe.

Depending on where you let the smoke out, but I would say yes. Remove the covers, I would look at the lower board first see the blackened areas. But the important question is why did it blow in the first place?
