According to the troubleshooting guide for this model, the red light flashing five times indicates a problem in the RAM (memory), before the video subsystem is ready. You may just need to open the case and make sure the memory sticks are fully locked in their slots. If you just added new memory, it might not match the required specs.

Blank screen and the power LED flashes Red five times, once every second, followed by a two second pause, and the computer beeps five times. (Beeps stop after fifth iteration but LEDs continue flashing.)

Cause Pre-video memory error.

Solution
1.
Reseat DIMMs. Power on the system.

2. Replace DIMMs one at a time to isolate the faulty module.

3. Replace third-party memory with HP memory.
4. Replace the system board.

Maybe I should have been more specific regarding which red lights I was speaking about. The front and side of the PC have decorative red lights. These are lights I would like to blink. Any help regarding these lights is appreciated. The manuals are poorly written. They don't even speak about these lights. Thanks

HELLO i HAVE THE mITSUBISHI wd60737 AND IT WILL NOT TURN ON. IT BLINKS THREE GREEN LIGHTS LIKE IT GOING TO TURN ON BUT THEN IT BLINKS RED ONCE AND TURNS OF. i TRIED THE HOLD FOR TEN SECONDS RESET THIN

First make sure the filters and vents are clean and the filter cover(s) are properly installed.

Try once more (DO NOT RESET). As soon as the TV shuts down, press the ACTIVITY/ENTER button and the CH Down button on the TV (not the remote control) and hold them for 5 seconds. The Status LED will start blinking an error code. The "normal" code is 12, which would be one blink, pause, then two blinks and a pause. The code is repeated five times. Post your results in the comments; I can look up the code for you.

No gas getting to the carburator

This carburetor is a Throttle body injection system the injectors requires pulses to control fuel spray. With starting fluid spray some down each side crank engine if it starts runs then dies then check the following #1 fuel pressure #2 check for engine codes cycle ignition key on & off three time (off,on,off,on,off,on) watch the crank engine light flash first set is ten code pause second set single code so a flash flash pause flash flash flash pause repeat would be code 23 repeat 23 then the next one with a end of message code of 55 with the code you can find the computer part that is failing.

THE RED LIGHT IS ON AND BEEPS EVERY MINUTE

What motherboard do you have? If you don't know, provice make and model of your system and maybe we can find out that way. Is it one long beep? Are there any other beeps and/or a sequence. A good place to start and alot of times, depending on your bios, 1 to 3 beeps means a problem with the RAM(memory). If you have more than 1 stick, you can pull them out, restart and if the beep is the same, you've probably found your culprit. You can then insert one at a time in one of your slots, then restart. If this works, you've found a good stick. If not, try another slot and restart, etc. Try all sticks in all slots.

Power will not come on even after system reset. Pushed reset and LED flashes then after it stops flashing TV will still not turn on.

do self check: when it shuts off and power light goes off:

On front of set press and hold both menu and input (device) buttons for at least five seconds and release both buttons.

Power light will blink a two digit error code, like 2 blinks, 2 blinks, a pause and repeat it several times.

Let me know what error code and I will assist you

Error code DR

Pull the tech sheet out of the dryer ( behind the lower front access panal ). The lights flashing are trying to tell you a fault code.

A copy:

MODEL DIFFERENCES: • Better models have a digital readout display
• Good models do not have a digital readout display
READING ERROR CODES 1. Position cycle selector knob to the 3 O’clock position.
2. Press and hold the Select and Pause Cancel buttons simultaneously for six seconds.
3. Immediately after, press and hold the START and Pause Cancel buttons simultaneously for 4 seconds.
4. Rotate the cycle selector knob to the 2 O’clock position.
On better model dryers, the error code will appear in the digital display. On good models, the five indicator lights of
Drying, Cool Down, Wrinkle Rid, and Clean Lint Filter Spin will flash the number of times for the first digit of the code
and the START indicator light will flash the number of times for the second digit. Take separate counts of each indicator
light, then repeat to confirm in order to be accurate in identifying the proper error code. The code is obtained by counting
the number of times the lights flash. Example E24: The five indicator lights would flash twice indicating the 2 and the
START indicator light will flash four times indicating the 4. The five indicator lights and the START indicator light start
flashing at the same time. The control will pause for 2 seconds, then repeat the code.
Note: A letter appearing in the code stands for a number higher than nine.
A = 10 B = 11 C = 12 D = 13 E = 14 F = 15
Example Code E4A: the first digit would be 4 and the second digit would be 10. If this code would appear on a dryer in
the Good model line, the five indicator lights would blink four times and the START indicator light would blink ten times.
Troubleshoot problem by using chart below.
To move on to the next code, press the OPTIONS button. To clear code, press the Select button.
To exit this mode, simultaneously press and hold the Select and Pause Cancel buttons for six seconds.

3 beeps mean what

If the only thing that happens is three rapid beeps when you select a feature from the console this is usually a symptom of a defective door switch.  The door switch must be closed to complete the circuit from the timer to the heating circuit and drive motor.  If the switch is bad, or the wiring is broken, the dryer will not run.
