Brews most of the water than stops and shuts itself off

For about a week now the coffee maker starts and will brew about 8 cups out of tweleve, then stop and the burner stays on for a few minutes and then shuts off. If you go back a few minutes later and turn it back on it will brew the rest of the water. Then the keep warm shuts down too. Trying to turn the warmer back on fails. No light comes on.

I have the same problem as above, brews 8 to 10 cups out of 12 and shuts itself off. If you set the coffee maker to auto on, the entire cycle will brew completely? I have cleaned it as instructed in the manual and as used the cleaning procedures given on your call in line. Still will not brew a complete pot of coffee in the manual brew cycle.

Brews about 4 cups and then stops and the light turns off. It knows it's not done because it doesn't beep. If you toggle the switch on again it will usually complete the brewing and then it will beep.

Cuisinart Coffeemaker Decalcification Process

Run 2 cups distilled white vinegar and 2 cups water through the system - brew it like it was regular coffee. Then run plain water through the coffemaker to rinse the vinegar out and make sure the decalcification was successful. Repeat as needed. Don't forget to remove the charcoal water filters first.

Shutting itself off

There are a couple reasons that the B70 might stop in the middle of brewing so one cannot be certain. The first one is where there are calcium carbonate deposits on the heating element and as the water in the boiler is agitated during pumping there is inadequate heating from the heating element and the thermostat shuts the brewing off when cooler water rises to the thermostat. Try running a mixture of 50/50 white vinegar through the unit a couple timesxto dissolve the calcium deposits or descale the unit per Keurig instructions. Secondly, it could be a faulty thermostat. If you are not handy, mechanically oriented I suggest buying a new one is best, least expensive. I believe that keurig coffee makers are able to brew 5000 cups without a problem. However our experience is that units with more than 5000 brews are prone to leakage, electricalr problems.

My Keurig (one year old) does not brew a full cup (I have it set for the largest cup setting) and it only brews approx 4 oz. then stops.?

1. Power off machine.

2. Using a metal paperclip, insert it into left side of top needle. It must insert at least 1" deep. Insert it into slot on right side and again from back of needle.

3. Remove KCup cradle. Separate bottom from top. In the top section, insert the paperclip up into bottom needle from the bottom upwards. It will not go all the way thru and this is normal.

4. Reassemble KCup cradle and reinsert it back into coffee maker.

5. Power on machine.

6. Brew a cup of water only. There may be coffee grounds in the water and these should eventually clear during the remaining steps. NOTE: A large cup brew cycle should output a full 8 ounces (235cc). Less means there is still a blockage

MR COFFEE FTX49. Brewing starts, then stops

Mine just started to do the exact same thing. So I decided to clean it using the "Clean" program and just water. I put the brewer through the cleaning program 3 times - each time it would brew water from 12 cups to 8 cups, I'd tap the brewer on the countertop, it would brew from 8 cups to 4 cups, tap it again, and it would brew the remaining cups. So, I called the Mr. Coffee help line (800-672-6333). The most-likely problem is that the hose is no longer attached in the water reservoir. The help line suggested that I take it in to a service center. I live in Urbana, IL and the closest service center is in Oak Lawn, IL - 2 hours away from me!!
Here is my solution:
1) Buy another coffee brewer.
or
2) Smash your current Mr. Coffee brewer into a million pieces (this relieves stress) and go buy another coffee brewer (probably stay away from Mr. Coffee products).
Hope this helps.

I do love our Cuisinart pot...but find they only last 2-3 years...so my suggestions is: if the pot is still in warranty, call Cuisinart for a new one...they are great about it. If you don't know if it is still in warranty, call them, give them the number and they will tell you.

Partial Brew

My experience has been that an aggressive cleaning, by "brewing" 6 cups of straight (undiluted) vinegar will eliminate this problem.
